A thin-film evaporator is a specialized liquid-liquid separation technology. Under high vacuum conditions, it allows the average free path of vapor molecules to exceed the distance between the evaporation and condensation surfaces, thus taking advantage of the differences in evaporation rates of various components in the feedstock liquid to separate the liquid mixture.

THE MAIN CHARACTERISTICS
Operated at temperatures well below the boiling point of the materials, with short material residence times; beneficial for the separation of high-boiling, heat-sensitive, and easily oxidizable materials.
2. Effectively removes substances from liquids such as organic solvents and odors, which is a highly effective method for desolvating liquids after solvent extraction.
3. Optional steam distillation of the product to remove other impurities; multi-stage separation allows for the simultaneous separation of two or more substances.
4. High vacuum distillation, vacuum level can reach below 0.1 Pa, achieving a high vacuum internally. Molecular distillation typically operates under very low pressure, thus preventing material oxidation and damage.
5. Distilled liquid has a thin membrane and high thermal transfer efficiency; the membrane thickness is less than 0.5mm.
6. Higher degree of separation; molecular distillation can separate conventional substances that are difficult to separate.
7. No boiling or bubbling occurs; molecular distillation is a free evaporation at the liquid surface, carried out under low pressure. There is no dissolved air in the liquid, so the entire liquid cannot be made to boil during the distillation process, and no bubbling takes place.
8. Offer a variety of specifications for customer selection, suitable for small-scale and pilot experiments. Larger evaporation area specifications can be customized according to customer requirements.

9. The scraper system is made of PTFE material and SS316L stainless steel, boasting excellent corrosion resistance.
10. The feed tank is optional with preheating functionality, with adjustable preheat temperature.
11. Seals at all interfaces are made of fluorocarbon gaskets for good airtightness. If clients require corrosion resistance, they can be replaced with Teflon material.
