Integrated desktop vacuum centrifugal concentrator, with built-in refrigerant and diaphragm pump, the whole unit is also more compact, saving space, no need for pipeline connections, ready to work upon startup, and more convenient to operate.
Vacuum centrifugal concentrators are used for sample preparation and analysis in fields such as chemistry, biology, and pharmaceuticals. In the life sciences, these instruments are commonly employed for separating and concentrating proteins, nucleic acids, and other biomolecules. Vacuum centrifugal concentration is a process that evaporates solvents to concentrate or dry biological (non-biological) samples. By combining centrifugal force, vacuum, and heating, the solvents in the sample are rapidly evaporated, achieving the goal of centrifugal concentration, which facilitates subsequent analysis and detection in experiments.
Operating Principle:By reducing the pressure inside the cavity through vacuum extraction, the boiling point of the solvent is lowered. As the pressure decreases, the boiling point of the solution follows suit, causing the solution to start boiling at a certain pressure level. Simultaneously, the sample is continuously centrifuged, ensuring the solution is collected at the bottom of the centrifuge tube, thus preventing contamination and loss due to boiling. Solvent vapor is liquefied as it passes through a low-temperature cold trap, captured by the trap, which protects the vacuum pump and extends its service life. Moreover, the sample remains in a low-temperature and vacuum environment, preventing inactivation and oxidation of heat-sensitive samples.
