The Tissuelyser-II tissue homogenizer is a true multitool for laboratory sample preparation, capable of rapidly pulverizing and homogenizing a variety of samples, including hard, soft, and elastic ones, to meet the requirements of rationalized analytical laboratories. It is equipped with grinding jars of different volumes and materials, allowing for dry, wet, and cryogenic grinding. It also facilitates cell lysis and DNA/RNA extraction. It finds extensive applications in various fields such as biomedicine, forensic science, public security investigation, agriculture, geological chemicals, ROHS, toys, environmental protection, quality inspection, and universities.
Operating Principle:
The high-throughput mill features a pair of symmetrical high-speed, large-amplitude swing arms. It achieves sample grinding, crushing, mixing, and cell wall disruption in a few seconds to minutes by irregularly impacting and rubbing the sample tube with small balls or stainless steel beads. The fine grinding can reach down to 5 micrometers.
Applicable Samples:
High-throughput grinding mills can crush and grind a wide range of materials including fibrous tissue, bones, hair, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, coated pills, minerals, ores, alloys, glass, ceramics, soil, sludge, plant tissue, grain particles, oil seeds, plastics, wool, textiles, and many other materials. Plant samples, animal samples, bacterial, and yeast samples.
Product Features:
Grinding Principle:Samples are crushed by oscillating through the tube with carbide tungsten balls or stainless steel beads.
Performance Efficient:Rapidly and effectively grinds up to 192 samples, with oscillation timing from 0 to 9999 seconds.
Comprehensive accessories providedAvailable in centrifuge tube adapters for 2mL x 28, 2mL x 48, 5mL x 12, and 2mL x 96, or 25mL/50mL grinding pots.
Intelligent Control:Large-screen touch screen design, easy operation, safe use, and highly reproducible grinding results.
Sample zero pollution:Closed-system sample tubes, with partitioned design to prevent cross-contamination.
Maintain sample characteristics:By using pre-frozen samples and grinding jars, successful grinding of thermosensitive and elastic materials can be achieved, reducing sample volatilization, preserving sample composition, and significantly enhancing the grinding efficiency.
Versatile, flexible operation:Capable of crushing 1-192 samples, with flexible adapter options for compatibility with various sample quantities.
Application Fields:
High-throughput tissue grinders are widely used in various fields, including DNA/RNA research, biochemistry, bioanalysis, immunoscreening, food safety, residue analysis, environmental testing, life sciences, molecular biology, academic research, forensic science, pharmaceutical analysis, HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography), synthesis and separation of organic substrates, toxicology identification, forensic identification, SPE (Solid Phase Extraction), and general laboratory concentration.
