The function of a water collection well:

1. The entrance to the basement typically features a stormwater drain, which channels rain and wastewater into a collecting well.

2. Excess water from domestic water tanks, pumps, or during equipment maintenance is also drained into the collection sump.

3. For fire protection purposes, the firewater from automatic sprinkler systems or fire hydrants should also be channeled into the collecting well in the event of a fire.

Pump Station Water Collection:

Aggregate the functions of water leakage, the sump is located at the lowest point of the building facilities. When the water level reaches a certain height, it is pumped out and discharged. Primarily for elevator shafts, and auxiliary buildings for pump rooms.

Building Purpose:

Water collection wells on the building are constructed around the perimeter to form local water concentration, facilitating drainage, and achieve the purpose of water-free construction in the foundation pit.
