Product Introduction
The in-situ tensile platform is used to directly observe the deformation, strengthening, and failure processes of materials at the micro scale. The deformation process is imaged throughout the testing, yielding quantitative load and displacement data. The mechanical data of the material (load-displacement curve) is correlated with in-situ observations of morphological changes and interpreted. It expands the capability and depth of characterization of the relationship between the in-situ microstructure of materials and their actual service mechanical properties. Applied to fields such as polymer films, plastics, textile materials, and flexible optical functional materials.
