The LXC-25 Small Flow Centrifugal Extractor is a new, rapid, and efficient liquid-liquid extraction and separation equipment. It boasts higher separation efficiency than traditional extraction equipment like extraction tanks and towers, making it more conducive to continuous production.
Centrifugal extraction machines utilize a motor to drive the drum to rotate at high speed. The two mixed liquids to be separated are mixed and transferred through the shearing force generated by the agitator blades, and then rapidly separated under the centrifugal force produced by the high-speed rotation of the drum.
Centrifugal extraction units can be used individually or in multi-stage series for countercurrent extraction, featuring high mass transfer efficiency, short two-phase residence time, and minimal retention. They are easy to operate and can adjust speed, flow ratio, and mixing intensity as required.
To meet customer needs, Zhenfen Distillation offers extraction equipment consulting and services: from initial communication on process objectives or operational conditions, planning, design, customized production, and manufacturing, helping you build the ideal extraction equipment, offering you greater peace of mind and convenience. Mixed process
Light and heavy phase materials are fed into the mixing zone of the equipment via the feed port at the bottom of the centrifugal extraction unit in the required ratio as per the process specifications. The motor drives the mixing structure at high speed, quickly blending and dispersing the light and heavy phases, thereby completing the mixing mass transfer process.
Separation process
The mixed liquid enters the drum under the action of the eddy current disk or feeder, quickly synchronizing with the drum rotation within the cavity formed by the side plates. Under the force of centrifugal force, the heavier phase liquid with higher density gradually moves away from the drum center and towards the drum wall during the upward flow. The lighter phase liquid with lower density moves away from the drum wall and towards the center. After clarification, the two phases of liquid are separated through their respective weir plates into the collection chamber and then exit via the heavy and light phase outlets, completing the two-phase separation process.
Equipment Features
♦ High mixing efficiency and extraction effect: Can flexibly match the mixing structure according to different material system requirements, achieving efficient extraction.
♦ Excellent two-phase separation effect: The equipment uses centrifugal force to separate the aqueous phase and organic phase, ensuring fast and stable separation, free from human interference.
♦ Low online liquid holding capacity: The internal liquid holding capacity of the equipment is small, for example, the liquid holding capacity of a 6m³/h processing capacity equipment can be 35L.
♦ Small equipment amplification effect: The equipment separates using centrifugal force and employs precise mixing, making it a typical process intensification device with a small amplification effect.
♦ Energy-saving and environmentally friendly: Small power consumption, fully enclosed, high-efficiency, energy-saving, and environmentally friendly equipment.
♦ Small equipment footprint
