The 50 Experimental Explosion-Proof Three-Tier Centrifugal Extraction Machine is a novel, rapid, and efficient liquid-liquid extraction separation unit. It boasts higher separation efficiency than traditional extraction equipment like extraction tanks and columns, making it more conducive to achieving continuous production.
Centrifugal extractors utilize a motor to drive the drum to rotate at high speed. The two mixed liquids to be separated are mixed and transferred by the shearing force generated by the stirrer blades, and then quickly separated by the centrifugal force produced by the high-speed rotation of the drum.
Centrifugal extraction units can be used individually or in multi-stage series to achieve countercurrent extraction. They offer high mass transfer efficiency, short residence time of both phases, minimal retention, and are easy to operate. Speed, flow ratio, and mixing intensity can be adjusted as needed.
To meet customer needs, Pure Fractionation offers extraction equipment consultation and services: from initial process target or operational condition discussions, planning, design, customized production, and manufacturing, we assist you in building the ideal extraction equipment, providing you with greater peace of mind and comfort. Mixed process
Light and heavy phase materials are delivered into the mixing zone of the equipment via the feed pump in the proportions required by the process, respectively from the feed inlet at the bottom of the centrifugal extraction unit. The high-speed motor drives the mixing structure, rapidly blending and dispersing the light and heavy phases, thereby completing the mixing mass transfer process.
Separation process
The mixed liquid enters the drum under the action of the vortex disc or feeder. Within the cavity formed by the drum's web, the mixed liquid quickly synchronizes with the drum's rotation. Under the force of centrifugal force, the denser heavy phase liquid gradually moves away from the drum center and towards the drum wall during its upward flow; while the lighter, less dense liquid phase moves away from the drum wall and towards the center. After clarification, the two liquid phases separately enter the collection chamber through their respective weir plates and are discharged through the heavy and light phase outlets, completing the two-phase separation process.
