One: Steam exhaust valve muffler applications and advantages
The exhaust valve silencer is primarily used for effective noise reduction of safety valves and exhaust valves in power plants, chemical, and steel industries. For boiler safety doors and exhaust valves, it can be considered as a part of the pipeline. After acoustic treatment internally, it can reduce the generation and transmission of noise, achieving a noise reduction of 35-45 decibels (A-weighted) at the outlet, which corresponds to a volume reduction of over 50%, resulting in a significant subjective effect. When designing the exhaust valve silencer for safety valves, the following three aspects should be considered:
The noise reduction capacity of the muffler meets the requirements of the "Hygienic Standards for Noise in Industrial Enterprises."
2. The silencer should not only minimize excessive noise but also ensure the smooth exhaust of airflow.
3. The structural performance of the muffler (including reasonable dimensions, low cost, long service life, etc.)
Manufacturers often use common multi-stage throttling and small-hole injection for noise reduction, which can lead to sudden steam exhaust blockages and explosion破裂 accidents. Therefore, the silencer of the safety door has always been a design challenge, and it is also the reason for its poor noise reduction performance.
Section 2: Steam Exhaust Valve Muffler Principle
Our factory's safety door muffler also utilizes the noise reduction principle of resistance, spray, and obstruction. It replaces the small-hole control flow with large-hole expansion control flow, ensuring the smooth exhaust of the safety door in structure. This further strengthens the resistive noise reduction principle, allowing steam sound waves to enter the countless small holes of the porous sound-absorbing material, exciting the vibration of the porous material molecules. This causes the sound energy to transform into heat energy as it overcomes frictional resistance and viscosity, achieving the ideal noise reduction effect and ensuring the smooth exhaust of steam.
Section 3: Steam Exhaust Muffler Ordering and Selection
Our factory's silencers are meticulously designed according to the customer's emission targets and requirements. To achieve the utmost noise reduction, the product must be compatible with the emission target and parameters. Therefore, when ordering silencers, the following information must be provided:
(1) Safety valve steam flow rate (T/h), lifting pressure, temperature.
(2) Steam exhaust pipe outer diameter, wall thickness.
