1: Steam safety valve exhaust silencer application and advantages
Steam safety valve exhaust silencers are mainly used for effective noise reduction of steam exhaust from safety valves and exhaust valves in power plants, chemical industry, and steel industry. Generally, they are categorized into boiler drum safety valve exhaust silencers, superheater safety valve exhaust silencers, and reheater safety valve exhaust silencers.
For boiler safety valves and exhaust valves, it can be considered as a component of the pipeline. After acoustic treatment inside, it can reduce the generation and transmission of noise, making the noise reduction at the outlet reach 35-45 decibels (A-weighted), correspondingly reducing the loudness by more than 50%, resulting in a significant subjective effect. When designing the exhaust silencer for safety valves, the following three aspects should be considered:
The noise reduction level of the muffler meets the requirements of the "Noise Hygiene Standards for Industrial Enterprises."
2. Mufflers should not only minimize excessive noise but also allow for smooth exhaust gas flow.
3. The structural performance of the muffler (such as reasonable dimensions, low cost, long lifespan, etc.)
Manufacturers sometimes use common multi-stage throttling and small-hole injection noise reduction methods, which often lead to instantaneous steam discharge and pressure blockage, causing explosion and cracking accidents. Therefore, the noise reduction design of safety doors has always been a challenge, and it is also a reason for the poor noise reduction effect of safety door noise suppressors.
Section 2: Principle of Steam Safety Valve Exhaust Muffler
Our new safety door sound absorber also employs the noise reduction principle of resistance, spray, and obstruction. It replaces the small-hole control flow with large-hole expansion control flow, structurally ensuring the smooth exhaust of the safety door. It further strengthens the resistive noise reduction principle, allowing steam sound waves to enter the numerous small holes of the porous sound-absorbing material, exciting the vibration of the material molecules. This causes the sound energy to convert into heat as it overcomes frictional resistance and viscosity, achieving the ideal noise reduction effect and ensuring the smooth exhaust of steam.
Section 3: Steam Safety Valve Exhaust Muffler Ordering and Selection
Our silencers are meticulously designed according to the user's emission targets and requirements. To achieve maximum noise reduction, it is essential that the product matches the emission target and parameters. Therefore, when ordering a silencer, the following information must be provided:
(1) Safety valve steam discharge rate (T/h), set pressure, temperature.
(2) Exhaust pipe outer diameter, wall thickness
