Rare earth wear-resistant steel, high-chromium cast iron, and single metal wear-resistant elbows; the hardness of the steel directly affects the welding properties. To ensure normal use and installation, the hardness must be reduced, thus it can only be below HRC40. Nevertheless, its weldability remains unsatisfactory and it is prone to cracking during welding. To find a balance between high wear resistance, weldability, and impact resistance, the KMTBCr28 dual-metal composite wear-resistant elbow was developed and has been widely used since the late 1990s. The KMTBCr28 dual-metal composite elbow meets the requirements for pipeline toughness, weldability, and strength (compressive capacity) while also providing sufficient wear resistance, making it an ideal solution for material conveying wear-resistant pipelines.
