Oxalic Acid/ Hydrochloric Acid/ Washed Quartz Sand Steel Lined Plastic Storage Tanks
Quartz sand crushing - washing - magnetic separation - acid leaching - washing - dehydration - drying
The acid-washed quartz sand is processed using wet acid washing methods, employing various acids such as hydrochloric acid, sulfuric acid, and oxalic acid. The pre-washing crushing is also done wetly, with some using mechanical methods like hammer crushing, resulting in a material rich in mechanical iron. The reaction between mechanical iron and quartz sand in water is slow, usually taking several days for the mechanical iron to oxidize into trivalent iron, turning red and yellow. If the material is soaked in acid, the rate of iron oxidation in the exposed air accelerates.
