Safety valve silencers are noise-reducing devices primarily used for effectively silencing high-temperature and high-pressure steam exhaust from safety valves, PCV valves, and exhaust valves in industries such as power, chemical, and metallurgy. For boiler safety valves and exhaust valves, they can be considered as part of the pipeline. After acoustic treatment internally, they can reduce the generation and transmission of noise, achieving a noise reduction of 20 to 30 decibels (A-weighted) at the outlet, which corresponds to a reduction in loudness by more than 50%, resulting in a noticeable subjective effect. When designing a safety valve exhaust silencer, the following three aspects should be considered:

1. After noise suppression, excessive noise should be avoided, and the suppression level should meet the requirements of the "Industrial Enterprise Noise Hygiene Standard."

2. The muffler should be rustproof, clog-resistant, and able to withstand high temperatures, pressures, and air flow.

3. The exhaust volume and blockage ratio of the muffler should accommodate the smooth expulsion of the steam flow from the safety valve.
