Steam muffler, primarily used for effective noise reduction of steam exhaust from equipment in power, chemical, metallurgical, mining, and textile industries such as boiler units.
II. Features:
Boiler Ignition Exhaust Muffler (TB Model)
To suppress the noise from high-pressure steam exhaust, this type of silencer is designed based on the principle of sound absorption. After undergoing a single flow control inside the silencer, the high-pressure steam enters the pressure-reducing chamber. It is then expanded in a large volume, forming low-pressure steam that is ejected. During this process, part of the steam's internal energy is converted into sound energy of certain frequencies. Although the noise power is significantly reduced, it often remains above the standard value due to reasons such as the steam exhaust deviating from the designed value. To address this, a double-layered sound-absorbing shield is designed around the pressure-reducing chamber, tailored to the frequency spectrum characteristics of the residual noise emitted by the chamber, for effective noise absorption. After installation as per requirements, the total noise reduction can reach 36~42 decibels.
2. Steam Safety Valve Muffler (TA Type)
For the safety valves of boilers and other equipment, the exhaust steam should not only avoid excessive noise but also allow for smooth discharge. Therefore, the commonly used multi-stage throttling and small-hole injection noise reduction methods are not suitable. Such limitations have always been a design challenge for safety valve silencers and are also a reason for their poor noise reduction performance. The noise reducer of this novel safety valve also adopts the noise reduction principle of resistance, injection, and restriction. It replaces the smaller diameter flow control holes with larger diameter expansion holes, further enhancing the resistance, injection, and restriction noise reduction effects structurally, achieving ideal noise reduction results.
3. Low-pressure Steam Muffler (Type TD)
Many industrial and mining enterprises use a large number of low-pressure boilers with pressures of 0.13 MPa or less. The thermal power system also features numerous low-pressure thermal devices, such as back-pressure turbines, deaerators, auxiliary exhaust blowers, steam turbine oil pumps, continuous blowdown from boilers, and regular blowdown, etc. These equipment require exhaust pipes to be equipped with lightweight, easy-to-install silencers. Our company designs different silencers for various noise reduction needs, meeting the requirements of our customers.
4. TC Type Blower Duct Silencer
After the installation and maintenance of steam boilers and related thermal equipment pipelines are completed, a steam flushing and cleaning of the pipeline debris is required. This process will generate a significant amount of noise. The TC type muffler employs a three-stage noise reduction structure, effectively silencing the noise through the principles of resistance, spray, and obstruction. It also effectively integrates the design of the TB and TA types in its internal structure.
