One. Features of the Belt-Type Continuous Drying Machine
1. The belt-type continuous dryer uses hot oil, steam, or hot air and flue gas as heat sources. It dries the material by controlling the parameters of the drying medium and utilizing the heat transfer of the gas medium through convection.
2. This machine is a continuous dryer. Wet material enters from the inlet end, gets dried during operation, and is discharged from the outlet end as dry material.
3. This unit is a forced circulation dryer, with the fan located at the top of the dryer. It is divided into positive and negative pressure zones according to the air flow direction.
4. Airflow Method: 1) Airflow that horizontally passes through the dried material is called horizontal airflow; 2) Airflow that passes through the dried material is called crossflow airflow.
2. Working Principle of the Belt-Type Continuous Drying Machine
1. Wet materials are conveyed into the feeding hopper of the mesh belt dryer by a belt conveyor. The mesh belt is driven by a speed-regulatable transmission mechanism, continuously advancing over the materials. After the material reaches the required dryness by adjusting the running time, it is discharged at the outlet.
2. The drying medium inside the machine is heated by a heater (heat source: hot oil, steam) or hot air (flue gas) and then horizontally or crossflows through the material, causing the moisture in the material to vaporize and evaporate, thereby achieving drying.
The working principle is briefly described as follows: After the fan starts, it first blows the dry medium towards the heater or hot air tube. After heat exchange, the temperature of the dry medium increases, and the heated medium is blown towards the material to raise its temperature, causing the moisture on the material surface to vaporize and evaporate. The steam is carried away by the medium and discharged at the exhaust port. The remaining medium is then吸入 by the fan for recirculation, and this cycle repeats, resulting in the drying of the material.
