I. Product Overview
The FY-XL series non-clogging swirl pumps are available in both vertical and horizontal configurations. They feature a swirl impeller, suitable for transferring corrosive liquids containing less than 45% solids with particle size less than 20mm.
II. Operating Principle
The pump housing and impeller are designed with innovative and unique concepts. The impeller rotates within the pump casing, driven by the internal tension of the medium, creating eddies and gaining kinetic energy as it rotates the medium within the pump's flow channels. The medium within the pump's flow channels is ejected through the pump outlet, while the medium between the impeller blades and the impeller itself does not experience relative motion, significantly extending the impeller's lifespan to three times that of conventional centrifugal pumps. There is a considerable gap (30-90mm) between the impeller and the pump's front cover, making the pump suitable for transporting corrosive liquids with large solid particles (particle size ≤ 20mm). This structural design prevents accidents where the impeller gets stuck due to solid particles, and the flow components like the impeller are less prone to scaling, thereby addressing the issue of short lifespan, frequent maintenance, and high equipment consumption for the overall flow components.
III. Pump Type Advantages
The shaft is designed with heavy-duty construction, offering strong load-bearing capacity and smooth operation; the pump features radial split, front and rear door structures for easy maintenance.
IV. Applicability Range
This pump model is suitable for conveying media containing large particles and corrosive substances. It offers greater operational stability and smoothness. The pump has been widely used in industries such as chemicals, petrochemicals, papermaking, and metallurgy.
