The YCB-G insulated gear pump is a type of external gear pump, with a tooth shape formed by a combination of circular arc and sine curve. The medium transported maintains stable flow rate and pressure. The pump body is equipped with an insulated jacket for heating, insulation, and cooling. When the viscosity of the medium exceeds 1500 cSt, a reduced speed transmission method should be used.

The YCB-G thermal-insulated gear pump's main flowing parts are equipped with hollow laminations. The asphalt thermal-insulated pump is also designed with passages for steam, hot/warm water, and heat transfer oil to heat and insulate the transported liquid and the pump. When the thermal-insulated asphalt pump is handling liquids of high viscosity, a reducer, variable-speed motor, or belt pulley should be used to decrease the pump's speed.
