YPB sliding vane pump operates on the principle that vanes are mounted in slots of the eccentrically positioned rotor within the pump body. As the rotor rotates, the vanes slide out from the rotor and move along the pump body surface. The chamber formed by the rotor, vanes, and pump body undergoes periodic changes in size with the rotation of the rotor. When the chamber expands, it draws in the medium; when it contracts, it discharges the medium. This cycle continues, facilitating the conveyance of the medium.
1. Working Principle:
YPB sliding vane pump operates on the principle that vanes are mounted in slots of the eccentric rotor, which is housed within the pump casing. As the rotor rotates, the vanes slide out from the rotor and adhere to the casing surface, creating a chamber between the rotor, vanes, and casing. This chamber's size varies cyclically with the rotation of the rotor. When the chamber expands, it draws in the medium, and when it contracts, it discharges the medium, thus continuously transporting the medium.
2. Product Features:
(1) Strong self-priming capability; capable of lifting heights up to 7.5 meters when suctioning from underground tanks.
(2) The sliding vane in the pump is tightly adhered to the inner curve of the stator due to the combined effects of centrifugal force, mechanical thrust, and hydraulic pressure, thereby giving the pump its unique performance characteristics.
(3) Maintain the _unchanged self-adjusting slider. The slider slides out of the rotor slots, continuously compensating for wear without reducing the _ of the pump. This is fundamentally different from gear pumps.
(4) Ability to Transport Shear-Sensitive Liquids: The design of the hydraulic vane allows the pump to minimize the shear and turbulence on the fluid during operation, thus preventing any changes in the fluid properties caused by this.
(5) Simple and convenient maintenance: Just open the pump cover, remove the old slider, and insert the new one. In just a few minutes, your pump is ready to resume operation. Routine inspections are equally easy.
3. Overview:
(1) The YPB series sliding vane pump is a positive displacement pump.
(2) The YPB series sliding vane pumps are mainly used for conveying lubricating oils with a medium viscosity of 10-200 mm²/s, and are also suitable for transporting similar chemical products. The medium temperature range for conveyance is 0℃-120℃, and these pumps have self-priming capabilities.
(3) Lubricating oil for conveying media with viscosities of 10 to 20,000 mm²/s, chemical, and food slurries; also suitable for conveying media with similar properties. The temperature range of the conveyed medium is 0°C to 200°C, and this series of pumps has self-priming capabilities.
4. Advantages
YPB Series Self-Priming Slurry Pumps are driven by a rotor with blades to move liquids. Made of spheroidal cast iron combined with self-lubricating blades, they excel in transmitting viscous and volatile liquids with lower power consumption compared to similar pumps. They are particularly advantageous in low-speed, high-flow transmission.
Rapid, low-noise operation for long-term use.
The blade structure ensures stable and trouble-free operation.
The YPB slide vane pump boasts the above advantages, with strong self-priming capabilities, compact size, and high efficiency. It holds a significant advantage in transferring gasoline, diesel, or similar media, serving as a substitute for self-priming centrifugal oil pumps and copper-impeller gear pumps.
5. Application Range: Tank trucks, ship fueling, lubricants, aviation fuel, petrochemicals, gasoline, diesel, biofuel, solvents, pesticides, and other transportation.
6. Installation and Use:
This pump is suitable for use in mobile or fixed installations. When paired with a universal joint or hydraulic motor, it can be mounted on any oil tanker and connected to an electric motor or diesel engine. It is designed for use on metal floors and is an alternative to copper-rotor gear pumps, suitable for any high-flow refueling station or mobile refueling equipment.
