HHP Jacketed Insulation High Viscosity Pump Introduction

The HHP jacketed insulated high viscosity pump features an internal gear-driven impeller (rotor) that rotates the internal rotor in the same direction within the fully enclosed pump body. The crescent shape of the pump body and the front cover separates the suction and discharge ports. As it rotates, a vacuum is formed at the suction port, drawing in the liquid. The rotor then transports the liquid to the discharge port, where it is pressurized and expelled from the pump, completing the liquid transfer.

The annular high viscosity pump is mainly composed of the inner and outer rotors, shaft, pump body, front cover, bracket, seal, and bearings. The sealing is available in two types: mechanical seal and packed seal. For media with high temperature, high viscosity, high density, and strong corrosiveness, a packed seal is recommended.

This high viscosity pump (high viscosity rotor pump, asphalt transfer pump) is suitable for industries such as oil, chemical, paint, grease, dye, and food.

Applications include the conveyance of organic acids, fatty acids, alkaline substances, caustic soda, soda water, polymers, soap, shampoo, animal fats, vegetable oil, chocolate, and other fluids.

HHP jacketed thermal high viscosity pump working principle:

High-viscosity pumps are rotary positive displacement pumps with internal gears. The liquid flow is generated by two gears, the driving gear and the driven gear. The internal gears are embedded within the external gears, separated by a crescent-shaped baffle. As the gears rotate, the liquid is drawn into the space enclosed by the two gears and the crescent baffle. When the gears mesh, the liquid is compressed and expelled from the pump. Therefore, the liquid flow is smooth, with a large capacity and a compact structure.

Specially designed jacketed pump for asphalt: Asphalt pump with temperature control, capable of quickly melting solidified asphalt inside the pump before startup. Jacket options are available in the bracket, end cover, and bearing areas to prevent asphalt from solidifying inside the pump.
