The Pressure Spray Dryer is a unit that can simultaneously complete drying and granulation. According to process requirements, the pressure, flow rate, and size of the spray orifice of the liquid pump can be adjusted to obtain spherical particles of the desired size ratio. The working process involves the high-pressure input of the liquid through a diaphragm pump, followed by the spray of misty droplets, which then descend with hot air. Most of the powder particles are collected at the discharge outlet at the bottom of the tower. Waste gases and fine powders are separated by a cyclone separator, with the waste gases discharged by a fan and the powders collected by a powder feeder at the bottom of the separator. An additional secondary dust removal device can be equipped at the fan outlet, achieving a recovery rate of over 96-98%. The materials for the tower body, pipes, and separator that come into contact with the material are all made of SUS304. There is sufficient insulation between the tower body and the outer shell, filled with ultra-fine glass wool. The tower is equipped with an observation door, sight glass, light source, and control instruments, all controlled and displayed from an electrical control console. The heating source uses steam heating or electric heaters, offering ease of operation, quick startup, compact structure, and clean, dust-free hot air. Additionally, the electrical control cabinet is equipped with a control and adjustment device for the electric heater, allowing for infinite adjustment of the inlet temperature. In areas with power shortages, steam heating or coal or oil-burning hot air furnaces can be used to partially or entirely replace the electric heating unit.
Operating Principle
The pressure spray dryer operates on the following principle: It uses a pressure of 2-20MPa to force the liquid material (filtered liquid) into a pressure atomizer, where it is atomized into tiny droplets. After atomization, the droplets (with significantly increased surface area) come into contact with hot air, rapidly completing the drying process. The end product is a powder or finely divided particles.
Features
Pressure Atomizing Spray Dryer Features:
One, the drying speed is fast, as the liquid is atomized, its surface area is greatly increased. In the hot air stream, 95-98% of the moisture can be evaporated instantly, and the drying process takes only a few seconds to several tens of seconds, making it particularly suitable for drying heat-sensitive materials.
The obtained product is spherical granules with uniform particle size, good fluidity, excellent solubility, high purity, and good quality.
Wide range of applications, adaptable to materials with either hot air drying or cold air granulation, strong material compatibility.
Four, operation is simple and stable, with easy control and automation feasibility.
