Product Introduction
With the development of urban industry, heat pipeline and petrochemical pipeline are increasingly being updated, especially in recent years, where many long-distance compensating pipelines and spatial pipelines have emerged. These pipelines require numerous fixed supports during installation, leading to high construction costs. Particularly in spatial pipeline networks, it's very difficult to set up fixed supports, and in some cases, it's impossible, severely affecting the design and development of the pipeline network. Our company has developed rotating compensators in response to market demands.
The rotary compensator is composed of a reducing elbow, inner sleeve, sealing seat housing, flexible graphite packing, nut-bolt spring assembly, and packing cover, and is equipped with corresponding ball bearings. The rotary compensator is made by first molding the sealing material into shape using a press, with the molding requiring a density not too dense to maintain plasticity. Then, N circles (number determined by product requirements) of the packing are placed into the packing cavity, some components to delay oxidation are added, and the packing is re-molded under pressure using an oil press (which exceeds manual wrench technology in both force and uniformity), causing the packing circles to merge together, thereby increasing the density of the packing, improving its sealing performance, and ensuring that the product does not leak for 15-20 years.

Rotary Compensator: Composed of a rotating inner sleeve, packing cover, bolted flange, guiding centering ring, shaped flexible graphite sealing material, sealing pressure ring, sealing seat housing, end connection pipe, bolts, and nuts. Features include no thrust, large compensation capacity, and no leakage.
It should be noted that conventional rotary compensators use variable diameter pipes for joints to save costs and facilitate processing. However, variable diameter pipes can generate eddies and flow resistance in the heating network pipes, affecting the flow velocity, flow rate, and pressure of the pipeline. Moreover, the dimensional and positional tolerances of the joints are often large, making it difficult to ensure the quality of pipe welding. Therefore, all of our company's thrust rotary compensator series have changed the variable diameter pipe joints to straight pipe joints that match the nominal diameter of the pipeline, fundamentally eliminating these issues and receiving high praise from users.
Installation Instructions
1. This compensator is specifically designed for pump ship pipelines. During welding, the pipeline joint should be beveled, and after welding, an inspection should be conducted according to pressure vessel requirements. A hydrostatic test should then be performed, adjusting the sealing components to ensure no leakage during the test. The force on all components should be consistent, and a torque wrench should be used.
2. Suspended bridge supports are installed according to design to allow for lateral pipe displacement through axial expansion. Compensators are typically installed near the suspended bridge supports and guide supports should be set up on the moving side. Fixed supports are mandatory at pipe bends.
3. The thermal insulation and waterproof structure of the compensator can be the same as the pipeline, but it should not exert any restraint on the expansion tube.
4. The compensator can be installed at any temperature without pre-tension or pre-pressure. The sleeve will not loosen; simply tighten the clamp bolt if it does.
