Curved Tube Pressure-Balanced Bellows Application Range:Commonly installed at pipe direction turnings (such as L-shaped, Z-shaped pipes, etc.) or on space pipes connected to equipment, as well as on pipeline systems sensitive to loads like pumps, compressors, and steam turbines. They are capable of absorbing vibrations and reducing noise, eliminating pipeline thermal stress, and ensuring safe operation of the equipment.

During operation, heat accumulates gradually within the system, exerting pressure on the A expansion joint on the pipe. The internal pressure activity is immediately transmitted to the expansion joint B via the turning rod, causing it to move similarly, achieving complete balance in the system. If there is no lateral displacement, the number of corrugations in bellows A and B will be the same. The curved tube pressure balance type bellows expansion joints are commonly used in systems for gas and steam turbines, pumps, and condensers, among other devices.
SingleCoiled Tube Pressure-Balanced Bellows Expansion JointThe expansion joint A can absorb both lateral and axial displacements. As shown in the figure, it has sufficient waves to absorb both lateral and axial displacements generated in the piping system. The expansion joint B, with an adequate number of waves, is only used to compensate for the axial displacements produced in the horizontal pipeline. The intermediate support IA and conduit guide device G should be installed at the positions shown in the figure.

The use of a universal bellows-type pressure balancing expansion joint effectively resolves this issue. The bellows (A1) and (A2) are connected by an intermediate pipe, capable of absorbing lateral displacement as well as axial displacement within the system. The design of the balanced bellows B is solely for compensating axial displacement. The rods connecting these bellows absorb pressure thrusts generated by adjacent equipment and structures. This design is widely applied in turbines, turning condensers, boiler feed pumps, and other circulation systems.
