I. Working Principle
The belt press filter features a three-step filtration and dewatering process.
Gravity Dewatering Zone
The sludge from the wastewater treatment plant is pumped into a sludge mixing tank, where it is mixed with a polymer flocculant. This causes the fine suspended particles in the sludge to form larger floc-like particles through the bridging action of the polymer. Subsequently, the sludge is gravity-fed from the top of the mixing tank to the subsequent pressing and dewatering operation.
2. Pressure Dewatering Zone
Sludge enters the pressure dewatering zone after passing through the gravity dewatering area, where the top and bottom filter cloths begin to gradually compress the sludge for dewatering.
3. Pressure Dehydration Zone
Sludge moves with the filter cloth into the pressurized dewatering zone, passing between six vertically arranged rollers. As the diameter of the rollers decreases from large to small, the pressure gradually increases. The varying positions of the filter cloth between the rollers due to their vertical movement exert shearing forces on the sludge, squeezing out the capillary water (capillary water) from the gelatinous sludge, resulting in a drier sludge cake.
II. Performance Features
The filter belt is automatically tensioned and corrected, solving the issue of belt misalignment and damage. The electric control system features a连锁 protection device, ensuring the safety and reliability of the entire machine's operation.
2. Corrosion resistance achieved through various methods, extended service life.
3. Triple dehydration zone design, dehydration rate, mud cake solids content;
4. Simple in principle, unified components, easy to manage, and convenient for maintenance.
5. Smooth operation, low noise;
6. High speed, quick adjustment, high yield.
Section 3: Manufacturing Features
1. The mainframe steel welding enhances rigidity, with hot-dipped galvanizing for anti-acid and alkali corrosion protection.
2. All main shaft rubber-covered roller seals are fully sealed and effectively anti-corrosive.
3. The drip pan is made of stainless steel, offering durability and strength.
4. Low system operating and maintenance costs.
5. Low sludge treatment volume, low filter cake moisture content.
IV. Performance Features
Scientific design and reasonable layout ensure the filter press has high dewatering performance. The main dewatering roller is designed with holes, which not only increases the processing capacity but also allows for simultaneous dewatering of sludge on both sides. The two sides of the filter belt quickly dewater during the pressing process, shortening dewatering time. The arrangement of smaller roller on the back and the change in the contact angle of the filter belt ensure a combination of pressure and shear force, significantly improving the solid content and dewatering efficiency of the sludge cake.
V. Application Scope
The belt press filter is suitable for sludge dewatering in wastewater treatment processes at urban sewage treatment plants, electroplating, papermaking, leather, dyeing, chemical industry, slaughtering, food processing, brewing, and environmental protection projects. It can also be used for solid-liquid separation in industrial production and is an ideal equipment for environmental governance and resource recovery. It can also be applied to solid-liquid separation or liquid extraction processes in industrial production. It is widely used in environmental protection engineering projects.
