Model Description:
GB/T 7253-1987 and JB 9681-1999 standards specification (old model):
XP - Standard Type Disc Shaped Suspend Type Porcelain Insulator
XWP - Non-stick Disc Shaped Suspended Ceramic Insulator
XHP - Glove-Shaped Insulator with Filtration Disc for Pollution-Resistant Bell Umbrella Suspension
XMP - Grass Hat Type Oil-Resistant Disc Shaped Suspended Ceramic Insulator
Numbers 1, 2, 3... are the design sequence numbers.
"—" followed by the number indicates the rated mechanical and electrical failure load value, in kN.
The "C" following the kN value denotes a groove-type connection structure, the "T" stands for a ball socket cap-flange connection structure, while the ball socket connection structure is not indicated.
GB/T 7253-2005 Standard Specification (New Model):
U - Sway Insulator
The digit following the "U" indicates the specified mechanical or mechanical failure load value, in kN.
B or C indicates ball socket or groove-type connections.
S or L denotes short or long structure height, M represents medium-long, and EL indicates extra-long.
P represents the large climbing distance.
Note: The naming method for insulator codes in the State Grid Corporation of China's bidding documents is as follows:
1. U70B/146: U—Suspended, 70kN, B—Bushing-type connection, Standard type, 146—Structural height
2. U100BP/155D: U—Suspended, 100kN, B—Bushing type connection, P—Corrosion-resistant, 155—Structural height, D—Double canopy
3. U160BP/170T: U-hanging, 160kN, B-ball joint connection, P-fouling resistant, 170-structural height, T-tri-umbrella
4. U70C(N)/200: U-hanging type, 70kN, C-slot connection, CN-tension type, ground wire insulator.
