Finned Tube Overview
Finned tubes, designed to enhance heat exchange efficiency, typically increase the surface area (either external or internal) of the heat exchange tubes by adding fins, thereby improving the heat exchange efficiency. Such heat exchange tubes, as heat exchange elements, operate under harsh conditions of high-temperature烟气 for extended periods, such as in boiler heat exchangers where the environment is severe with high temperature, pressure, and corrosive atmospheres. This necessitates that finned tubes possess high performance specifications.

Finned tube advantages
1. High Efficiency and Energy Saving: Its heat exchange coefficient ranges from 3000 to 4500 kcal/m²·°C·h, which is 3 to 5 times more efficient than shell-and-tube heat exchangers.
2. Compact Structure: Plate heat exchangers have tightly packed plates, occupying less floor space and overall space compared to other types of heat exchangers. A plate heat exchanger with the same heat transfer capacity as a shell-and-tube exchanger requires only 1/5 of the area.
3. Easy to Clean and Dismantle: The plate heat exchanger clamps the plate elements together with clamping bolts, making it convenient to dismantle and clean at any time. Additionally, due to the smooth surface and high turbulence, scaling is not likely to occur.
4. Long Service Life: Plate heat exchangers are made with stainless steel or titanium alloy plates, resistant to various corrosive mediums. Gaskets are replaceable and easy to install, disassemble, and inspect.
5. Versatile: Plate heat exchanger plates are independent components, allowing for adjustments in flow paths to meet specifications and come in various configurations; suitable for a wide range of different process requirements.
6. Non-leakage design: The plate heat exchanger features a sealed groove with a leakage channel, ensuring that various media do not intermix. In the event of a leak, the media always discharges outward.
