III. Key Features of the Rapid Plasticity Meter:
1. This machine applies pressure to the specimen using a 1:1 weight lever, ensuring stable pressure, low noise, and the weights require no maintenance throughout their lifetime, overcoming the instability issue of pressure in plasticity meters that use spring force.
2. The machine can be set to use a computer for data collection, automatically calculating the plastic value and plastic retention rate of the sample, and then printing and saving the experimental report.
3. The machine can be configured with various parameters to test the impact of different conditions on the initial plasticity and plasticity retention rate of rubber.
4. The aging boxes use heating elements for direct heating, which results in fast temperature rise, long lifespan, stable temperature, and overcomes the disadvantages of steam heating that takes a long time and has significant temperature deviations.
5. The aging box has 4 aging rooms, each with independent timing for separate rubber aging tests. When a tray is pushed in, the timer in the aging room starts; upon completion of the 30-minute aging process, the room's indicator light blinks to remind the operator to remove the sample.
6. Both the rapid plasticizer and aging box are controlled by a PID temperature controller, featuring digital display of actual and target temperatures for high precision temperature control and easy adjustment.
