Figure 1 shows the drawing format, curves, and parameters.
Low-torque
MH: High Torque
TS1 (Early Sulfurization Time, Curing Time): The time corresponding to an additional 0.1Nm of torque on the ML basis, calculated in minutes.
TS2 (Early Sulfurization Time, Curing Time): ML + 0.2Nm, which refers to the time corresponding to an additional 0.2N·m torque on the ML, calculated in minutes.
T10 (Initial Vulcanization Time): The time corresponding to the torque reaching 10% of (MH-ML), calculated in minutes.
T30 (Sulfur Time for Accurate Assessment): The time in minutes when the torque reaches (MH-ML) x 30%.
T50 (Sulfurization Time for Accurate Assessment): Time corresponding to 50% of the torque, calculated in minutes, which is the ML (MH-ML) × 50%.
T70 (Sulfurization Time for Accurate Assessment): The time, in minutes, corresponding to when the torque reaches the value of (MH-ML) x 70%.
T90 (commonly used optimal vulcanization time): The time in minutes when the torque reaches ML (MH-ML) × 90%.
VC (Vulcanization Rate Index): VC = 100 / (T90 - TS1)
