Belt dryers are a continuous cross-flow drying equipment, ideal for drying permeable sheet, strip, and granular materials. They are particularly suited for materials with high moisture content, such as dehydrated vegetables and traditional Chinese medicine slices, where high temperatures are not permitted. This series of dryers boasts fast drying speed, high evaporation intensity, and high-quality product output. For paste-like materials in the form of dried filter cakes, they can be dried after granulation or molding into bars.

PRINCIPLE

The material is evenly spread on a conveyor belt by a feeder, typically using a 12-60 mesh stainless steel wire mesh, which is driven by a transmission device within the dryer. The dryer consists of several units, each with an independent hot air circulation. Part of the exhaust gases is expelled by a dedicated humidity exhaust fan, while the exhaust gases are controlled by a regulating valve. Hot air passes through the belt filled with material from bottom to top or top to bottom, completing the process of heat and mass transfer, removing the moisture from the material.

The belt moves slowly, and the operating speed can be freely adjusted according to the material temperature. After drying, the finished products continuously fall into the receiver.

The up-down circulation units can be flexibly equipped according to customer requirements, and the number of units can also be selected as needed.
