The rotary drum dryer is a cylindrical body with a slight incline and adjustable speed within a specific range. Wet material is fed into the drum by a feeding machine. Under the action of the scraper evenly distributed inside the drum, the material is uniformly distributed and dispersed within the dryer, where it comes into full contact with the hot air passing through the drum (either co-current or counter-current). This accelerates the drying heat transfer and mass transfer, achieving the drying goal.

PRINCIPLE
The working principle of the drum dryer is to form a film of liquid or slurry material on the surface of the drum, which is heated by steam or other heat carriers. The material is dried as the drum rotates once. A scraper is then used to remove the product, exposing the drum surface again to the raw material, where it forms a new film for further drying.
