Product Overview

The SZG Bi-conical Vacuum Dryer is a drying unit featuring a double-conical vacuum design with a belt-chain two-elastic connection, ensuring smooth operation. The specially designed process fully demonstrates the excellent concentricity of the two shafts, with both the heat medium and vacuum system utilizing reliable mechanical seal technology for rotating joints.

       SZG rotary vacuum dryer is a drying device of new generation developed by our factory based on technologies of similar domestic products. The two cone-vacuum adopts belt-chain double elastic connection method, therefore the equipment can run in a stable manner. The specially designed process fully shows the good concentricity of the two shafts. Thermal media and vacuum system all adopt reliable mechanical sealing or rotating connector of American Technology.

Operating Principle

Heat energy (such as hot water, low-pressure steam, or heat transfer oil) is introduced into the enclosed jacket, where the heat is transferred to the material being dried through the inner shell. Under the power drive, the vessel slowly rotates, causing the contents inside to continuously mix, thereby enhancing the drying process.

       Material is in a vacuum state, which causes the steam pressure to drop, leading to the water content (solvent) on the material surface reaching saturation and evaporating. The vapor is then promptly exhausted and recycled by the vacuum pump. The water content (solvent) inside the material continuously渗透 into the surface, evaporates, and is exhausted, with these three processes continuously occurring. The material achieves the drying goal in a short period of time.

       Supply heat energy (such as hot water, steam of low pressure or heat conduction oil) into the closed interlayer. The heat will be transferred to materials to be dried by inner shell. The tank body will be driven to rotate slowly. The materials inside the tank are mixed to strength drying purpose.

       The materials are under vacuum status. Steam pressure will decrease which make the water on material surface (solvent) become saturated and then evaporate. The water will be discharged and recycled by the vacuum pump immediately. Water (solvent) inside the material is permeated, evaporated and discharged from the surface. The said three processes happen constantly and the materials will be dried in a short period. 

Product Features

       The container continuously rotates, allowing for the renewal of the heated surface of the material.

       Constant rotation of the vessel keeps renewal of heating surface of the materials;

       Indirect heating, non-contaminated.

       Indirect heating gives no pollution;

       High thermal efficiency, more than double that of a regular oven.

       High heat efficiency which is over 2 times than the common oven;

       The container rotation speed can be adjusted between 3-13 rpm.

       The rotation speed of the vessel can be adjusted within 3-13rpm;

       The temperature controlled by the thermostat is displayed on a digital indicator.

       Thermostatical control temperature will be shown on the digital display;

       Temperature can be adjusted between 30-160 degrees, with a temperature control accuracy of within 2 degrees.

       The temperature can be adjusted between 30-160 degree and temperature difference shall be within 2 degree.

Primary Application

       This equipment is primarily used for drying and dehydrating materials in industries such as chemicals and food processing.

       This equipment is mainly used for drying of following materials in pharmaceutical, chemical, food and other industries;

       Material for recovering residual volatiles.

       Materials which are used to recycle residual volatiles;

       Material discharged during the condensation of steam in the recycling drying process.

       Materials which are used to recycle steam discharged during drying process

       Highly stimulating, toxic materials.

       Material with strong irritation or is toxic;

       Materials unsuitable for high temperatures.

       Materials cannot resist to high temperature;

       Material prone to itching.

       Materials which are easy to be oxidized;

       Materials that prohibit the destruction of crystals.

       Materials which the crystals are not allowed to be destroyed.

       This unit is the main equipment, requiring a heating system, vacuum pump, and auxiliary condenser device. (Our factory can assist with the provision of these equipment for the customer. Please specify in your order.)
