The stage is an essential element for all ceremonies and events, serving as a large-scale platform for all activities. It is the foundation for showcasing participants' demeanor, the scale of the event, and the grandeur of the occasion. Hence, the importance of stage setup is self-evident. Event companies must not only focus on stage construction but also on stage lighting design, which is a crucial aspect, with lighting requirements exceeding those of a general stage.
Stage setup preparation:
1. Measure the ceiling height at the event site.
When arranging the stage, lighting, and audio-visual equipment, the ceiling height plays a crucial role. Taking the stage background with an LED screen as an example, it's necessary to calculate the appropriate size of the LED screen installation based on the height.
2. Check for any obstructions that may block the view at the survey site.
Check each room from every angle to ensure there are no columns, chandeliers, or other obstructions blocking the view.
3. Plan the number and scale of stages based on the actual circumstances.
For small businesses, the number isn't substantial, but it's enough to create a stage at an annual meeting. However, for large corporations, it's different; the number could be in the hundreds, so multiple stages or multiple displays on one stage might be necessary. By pre-determining the number and orientation of the stages and background screens, we can maximize space usage to a great extent.
4. Estimate the required stage dimensions based on program requirements.

Setting up a stage is not merely about constructing a platform; it's about advancing the event itself. Similarly, the establishment of an event stage requires considering many aspects.
1. Consider the sturdiness factor.
The sturdiness of the stage is a fundamental issue in stage construction, concerning the safety of both performers and the audience on and off stage.
2. Consider the performance timing.
If it's a daytime performance, when selecting the performance time, consider the angle of sunlight to avoid performers or spectators from squinting. The seating area and stage should be positioned away from direct sunlight to prevent glare and hinder viewing.
3. The stage should have distinct layers to facilitate the arrangement of numerous performers, ensuring the visual presentation of performances has a sense of hierarchy and aesthetics.
4. When setting up the stage, for celebratory performances, ensure to fully present the on-site environment and atmosphere, creating a festive mood for the event.

Stage Setup Process:
Clean the installation site, cover the floor with a cloth according to the size of the stage, then place the frame and materials on the cloth. The stage is installed in one go. When laying the platform mat, secure it to the stage board with tacks. When laying the exhibit curtain, ensure it is pulled taut and then secured with tacks. For larger stages, the exhibit curtain needs to be pieced together, with the seams pressed outward and secured with tacks. Install the stage skirt. After the exhibit curtain is laid, the construction personnel should walk in shoes. And always keep the area clean of debris.

Stage Setup Techniques:
1. Stage height issue.
Standard stages commonly use heights of 20cm, 40cm, and 60cm. A 20cm high stage: is mostly used for small to medium-sized or indoor events, as the scale is not large, it allows for easy proximity to the audience, facilitating better communication and interaction; A 40cm high stage: is the most commonly used and aesthetically pleasing, especially for event stage setups such as grand opening ceremonies, launch events, ribbon-cutting ceremonies, and large corporate annual meetings, where a 40cm stage is typically employed.
2. Stage safety.
Stage safety is a fundamental issue. If heavy objects need to be placed on the stage or many people will be standing on it, the client must communicate with the stage construction party in advance. As stage constructors, it is crucial to implement appropriate safety measures, such as adding more support iron frames under the stage, using double-layered wood boxes for load-bearing, and more.
3. Stage aesthetics.
Once the stage setup is complete, a carpet will be laid on the stage, custom-colored to the client's specifications. The perimeter of the stage will be enclosed with a border, creating a beautifully arranged stage. When beautifying the stage, ensure the carpet is brand new and the border is seamlessly joined. Attention to these details will enhance the stage's aesthetics and grandeur.
4. Stage dimensions.
Stage setup must have size limitations, as the wooden boards laid out have specific dimensions.
