Pressed and welded elbow, which is formed by using sheet metal of the same material as the pipe, pressed into a semi-circular elbow shape using a pressing mold, and then the two semi-circular elbows are assembled and welded to form the final product. Due to the varying welding standards for different types of pipes, it is typically shipped as semi-finished products with spot welds for assembly, and the welding is performed on-site based on the pipe weld grade, hence also known as a two-piece welding elbow.
