Spray drying is a widely used process in the liquid process forming and drying industry. It is suitable for producing powdered and granular solid products from solutions, suspensions, and pasty liquid raw materials. Therefore, when the particle size distribution, residual moisture content, bulk density, and particle shape of the finished product must meet the standards, spray drying is an ideal process principle.

The air is filtered and heated before entering the top air distributor of the dryer, where the hot air spirals in evenly into the dry-blast chamber. The liquid material is atomized into extremely fine mist droplets by the high-speed centrifugal atomizer at the top of the tower (rotating), and upon contact with the hot air, can be dried and exploded into finished product in a very short time. The finished product is continuously discharged from the bottom of the dry-blast tower and the cyclone separator, while the exhaust gas is exhausted by the fan. Performance features:

@Flash drying is fast, with the liquid treated to increase surface area significantly, it can evaporate 95%-98% of moisture instantly in the hot air flow, and the drying process takes only a few seconds, especially suitable for heat-sensitive materials. @The product has good uniformity, fluidity, and solubility, with high purity and good quality. @The production process is simplified and operation control is convenient. Liquids with moisture content of 40-60% (special materials up to 90%) can be dried into powder particles in one go, eliminating the need for crushing and screening, reducing production steps, and improving product purity. The particle size, bulk density, and moisture content can be adjusted within a certain range by changing operating conditions, making control and management easy.
