Product Introduction:
1. Heating Method: Equipped with an electric heating tank and a heat-conductive oil cooling pipe inside the drum, heated by electric heating pipes (power of the electric heating pipes determined by the drum volume), and a heat-conductive oil circulating pump forces the oil through the drum's heat-conductive pipes to heat asphalt.
2. Temperature Control: The start and stop of the electric heating tubes are controlled by two temperature controllers. One is the asphalt temperature controller inside the tank, which is primarily responsible for maintaining the asphalt temperature within an appropriate range. It sets the upper and lower limits for the required asphalt temperature. When the asphalt temperature reaches the upper limit, the electric heating tube automatically shuts off; when it drops to the lower limit, the electric heating tube automatically starts up. The other is the heat-conducting oil temperature controller, which primarily ensures that the heat-conducting oil operates within an appropriate temperature range. When the heat-conducting oil temperature reaches the upper limit, the electric heating tube automatically shuts off; when it drops to the lower limit, the electric heating tube automatically starts up. This achieves automated production.
3. Local Heating Technology
An isolated small tank is set inside the asphalt tank (the volume of the small tank is determined based on the user's production requirements). Most of the heat dissipation area (thermal oil electric heating box, thermal oil piping) is placed within this small tank. We refer to this part of the small tank as the high-temperature zone. The asphalt within the high-temperature zone can reach the required construction temperature in a very short time and with minimal energy consumption, supplying it for production.
One, the areas outside the high-temperature zone within the drum are referred to as the low-temperature zone. The low-temperature asphalt in the low-temperature zone is preheated by the surface of the high-temperature zone and a small portion of the heat-conducting oil coils outside the high-temperature zone. When the high-temperature asphalt in the high-temperature zone is pumped out, the preheated asphalt from the low-temperature zone enters the high-temperature zone simultaneously and in equal amounts due to the vacuum effect.
This technology significantly reduces the heating time of asphalt, enhancing production efficiency; maximizes heat utilization and reduces energy consumption; and completely avoids repeated heating of asphalt, preventing asphalt aging.
Three, Asphalt Handling: Designed with a 3-inch diameter insulated gear asphalt pump, flow rate of 18 m³/hour (actual flow rate up to 20 m³/hour), equipped with oil discharge channel, rotating asphalt pipe, three-way swing valve, asphalt pump, and oil discharge channel.
1. During unloading, switch the three-way ball valve to connect the asphalt pump with the unloading trough. Rotate the asphalt hose to align with the tank opening. The asphalt tanker will discharge asphalt into the unloading trough, then turn on the asphalt pump to inject asphalt into the tank through the rotating asphalt hose.
During loading, rotate the three-way ball valve to connect the asphalt pump with the tank. Position the rotary asphalt pipe to align with the entrance of the asphalt tanker (or other asphalt equipment). Then, activate the asphalt pump to inject asphalt into the tanker through the rotary asphalt pipe.
3. The heat-insulating asphalt pump features reverse and preheating functions. After loading or unloading is complete, activate the pump's reverse function to empty the asphalt from the pipes and pump. There's no need to clean the pump and pipes with diesel fuel. Even if there's a small amount of residual asphalt causing sticking, it can be preheated with thermal oil, thus avoiding the hassle of stopping the pump for diesel cleaning and baking.
Material Configuration: The tank body is made of 5mm thick Q235B steel plate, insulation is done with 5cm rock wool, the outer material is 0.5mm corrugated color steel plate, and the heat-conducting oil piping is made of GB/T8163 57mm×3.5mm seamless steel pipe.
Other Configurations: The tank is equipped with a distribution control box, a float ball rotary level gauge, a thermometer, a tank top platform, a ladder, and guardrails.
Optional control room available, housing equipment such as the electrical control box, asphalt pump, thermal oil circulating pump, and unloading pit within, offering a cleaner, more aesthetically pleasing appearance, as well as rain and theft protection.
Section 7: This drum can be used in conjunction with emulsified asphalt equipment to provide heat for water heating and to keep asphalt pumps and pipelines warm.
