UG Mold Design Phase Learning Content:

1. Mechanical drafting, CAD software commands, fundamental mold knowledge, machining processes, basic steps for drawing assembly drawings, and the application of CAD auxiliary modules.

2. Explanation of 3D software commands, product design, product analysis, DFM creation, export mold standards explanation, and application of 3D auxiliary modules.

3. Mold structure explanation (mold types, tilting cores, sliding plates, thread forming, N-time parting, etc.), demolding steps, product rational modifications, product parting surface construction, demolding techniques, full 3D, complete 2D assembly drawings.

4. Provide CAD and UG drawings for mold components, and prepare a BOM with 0 pieces for ordering.

5. Comprehensive intensive training where students design according to the factory's design process, with the instructor organizing evaluations and summaries.

UG CNC Programming Stage Learning Content:

I. Basic Courses:

1. UG Installation and Interface Setup (UG Sketch Examples Explained) 2. Basic UG Modeling Commands 3. UG Curve Applications 4. UG Solid Modeling 5. UG Surface Patch Techniques 6. Product Example Explanation 7. UG Machining Module and Engineering Drawing Instruction 8. Assembly and Automatic Molding Partition

Section II: Basic Applications of UG Machining Module

1. Face Milling: Know the application, cutting method, and main parameter settings for face milling.

2. Planar Milling: Know the application scenarios, classifications, cutting paths for different workpieces, settings of main parameters, and master them.

3. Cavity Milling: Commonly used for roughing out workpieces. Learn to choose the right tools reasonably when the workpiece varies in size. Cavity milling generally employs a following-the-contour cutting method, with emphasis on the setup and mastery of key parameters.

4. Re-clearing the corners with the cavity milling: Mainly for processing the excess material left after rough cutting with the upper tool; setting and mastering the main parameters.

5. Constant Contour Milling: Often used for precision finishing of workpiece sides, when selecting tools, choose a reasonable one based on the size of the R-radius at the bottom of the workpiece. Setting and mastering key parameters, example explanation, and combined with practical exercises on the topic.

6. Curved Surface Milling: Commonly used for precision finishing of workpiece surfaces, usually selecting ball-end mills for curved surface milling. Main parameter settings and control, example explanation, and combined with topic exercises.

7. Hole Machining: Applications of G81 and G83.

Section 3: Factory Examples:

1. Electrode Processing: Through multiple electrode examples and practice, master the processing and clamping techniques for electrodes. Pay attention to special considerations for processing electrodes, such as ultra-high and ultra-thin electrodes.

2. Mold Frame Machining: Proficient in mold frame machining processes, experienced in handling large-scale mold frames.

3. Mold Core Machining: Understanding of common mold core materials, knowledge of mold heat treatment processes, control of excess stock before heat treatment for mold cores, and precautions during the machining of mating surfaces on front and back mold cores.

4. Full Mold Machining: Mastering the precautions during the full mold machining process, integrating the common mold processing flow of the factory and the processing department.

5. Product Processing: Craft considerations and parameter settings during product processing.

Completing the learning content in this phase, through full-time instruction, typically takes about three months. Upon finishing our courses, you will be very familiar with the factory's operational procedures, possess 2-3 years of work experience, and be capable of working independently as a mold design and programming engineer.
