Xiamen Rongchang Mold Design & Programming Training Studio is a professional training studio specializing in mold design and CNC programming. Taught by a mold design engineer with 15 years of experience, it offers mentorship-style, hands-on instruction, delivering the latest and most practical techniques to meet industry demands. Our aim is to build a high-quality mold training brand and provide resources for the mold industry.
Can someone with a low education level learn mold design? As long as you have the interest and are willing to work hard, it can be done, even with a junior high school education! There's this saying: "Those who achieve first are not necessarily the ones who study first." As long as you find a good training institution and a good teacher to guide you, and study deeply and systematically, mold design is an easy subject to master.
Is there still an advantage to learning mold design? As the "mother of industry," molds have a vast development space. It can be said that as long as there are products, there are molds, and as long as there are molds, there is a need for mold design. With the transformation of enterprises and the improvement of technology and management in recent years, the mold industry in our country has developed rapidly, especially in the fields of automotive molds and export molds, which is particularly significant. The demand for talents is ever-increasing; for example, the shortage of mold design personnel in the Pearl River Delta area is several hundred thousand. Some companies are offering salaries over 10,000 yuan per month but still can't find suitable talents! Currently, the monthly salary for mold designers with ordinary training is generally over 6,000 yuan, and after one year of work, the average salary is around 8,000 yuan. After three years, the salary is generally over 10,000 yuan; this is the advantage of learning mold design! As long as you have the ability to work, you will never be unemployed in your lifetime!
Our Studio's Training Advantages: Can learning a couple of software programs really make you proficient in mold design? Don't confuse software training with mold design! Many training schools nowadays primarily focus on basic software operations, lacking industry-specific technical knowledge—misleading students! Our studio is led by engineers with 15 years of experience in the mold industry. Can you name several training schools that hire instructors with over a decade of experience?

Studio Advantages:
1. Our studio instructors possess the three essential skills for mold design: a) mold mechanism, b) software operation, c) machining process.
2. Our studio operates through a master-apprentice system. Large training schools often have dozens, if not hundreds, of students, and how many can a teacher realistically attend to? Moreover, teachers are usually hired, so will they take the time to nurture you with heart and soul?
Are you still struggling to learn technology? Are you still working on the assembly line in monotonous, repetitive tasks? Are you still studying textbooks, building in isolation, or watching online videos? Stop wasting time and money on futile efforts. Open a design training studio to create such a great learning opportunity and environment for you – you definitely don't want to miss out!
Eligible Applicants: Aspiring youth with high school or above education, or workers in the mold and machinery industry such as CNC operators, milling workers, mold setters, etc., as well as graduates from technical colleges...

Course Schedule
UG Mold Design Phase Learning Content:
1. Mechanical drafting, CAD software commands, basic mold knowledge, processing techniques, fundamental steps for drawing assembly drawings, and the application of CAD auxiliary modules.
2. 3D software command explanations, product modeling, product analysis, DFM creation, export mold standards, and applications of 3D auxiliary modules.
3. Mold Structure Explanation (mold types, sliding cores, side actions, thread forming, N-time parting, etc.), demolding steps, product rational modifications, product parting surface construction, demolding techniques, full 3D, complete 2D assembly drawings.
4. CAD for mold loose part drawings, UG for mold loose part drawings, and preparation of BOM table with 0 pieces for order.
5. Comprehensive intensive training, where students design according to the factory's design process, with teachers organizing evaluations and summaries.

UG CNC Programming Stage Learning Content:
I. Basic Course:
1. UG Installation and Interface Setup (UG Sketch Examples Explained) 2. Basic UG Modeling Commands 3. UG Curve Applications 4. UG Solid Modeling 5. UG Surface Patch Techniques 6. Product Example Explanation 7. UG Machining Module and Engineering Drawing Explanation 8. Assembly and Automatic Molding Partition
Section II: Basic Applications of UG Machining Module
1. Surface Milling: Know the application scenarios, cutting methods, and main parameter settings of surface milling
2. Flat Milling: Understand the application, classification, cutting methods for different workpieces, setting of main parameters, and mastery
3. Cavity Milling: Commonly used for roughing out workpieces. Learn to select the right tools wisely when dealing with workpieces of different sizes. Cavity milling generally employs a following-the-perimeter cutting method, with a focus on setting and mastering the main parameters.
4. Re-clearing corners with mold milling: Mainly for processing the excess material left after roughing with the upper tool; setting and mastering of main parameters.
5. Parallel Contour Milling: Often used for precise finishing of workpiece sides. When selecting tools, choose a reasonable tool based on the size of the R-angle at the bottom of the workpiece. Setting and mastering key parameters, example explanations, and exercises related to the topic.
6. Curved Surface Milling: Often used for precision finishing of workpiece surfaces, typically with ball-end mills. Focus on setting and mastering key parameters, with example problems and exercises related to the topic.
7. Hole Machining: Applications of G81 and G83.
Section 3: Factory Case Study:
1. Electrode Processing: Through multiple electrode examples, practice, and mastery, learn the processing steps and fixture techniques for electrodes. Pay attention to special points during the processing of electrodes, such as ultra-high and ultra-thin electrodes.
2. Molding Frame Processing: Proficient in molding frame processing techniques, experienced in handling oversized molding frames.
3. Molding Core Machining: Understanding of common molding core materials, knowledge of die heat treatment processes, control of stock allowance before heat treatment for molding cores, and precautions during the processing of mating surfaces on front and back molding cores.
4. Full Mold Machining: Mastering the precautions during the full mold machining process, combining the common processing flow of molds in the factory and the processing department.
5. Product Processing: Precautions and parameter settings during product processing.

The above learning content can be completed in approximately three months of full-time instruction. Upon completing our course, you will be very familiar with the factory's operational procedures and possess the experience equivalent to 2-3 years, enabling you to independently perform as a mold designer and programmer.
