UG Mold Design Phase Learning Content:

1. Mechanical drafting, CAD software commands, fundamental mold knowledge, machining processes, basic steps for assembly drawing, and the application of CAD auxiliary modules.

2. Explanation of 3D software commands, product shaping, product analysis, DFM creation, export mold standards, and applications of 3D auxiliary modules.

3. Mold Structure Explanation (mold types, inclined cores, slides, spinodules, N-time parting, etc.), demolding steps, product rational modifications, product parting surface construction, demolding techniques, full 3D, complete 2D assembly drawings.

4. Provide CAD drawings for mold components and UG drawings for mold components; prepare BOM with 0 pieces for ordering.

5. Comprehensive intensive training, where students design according to the factory's design process, with teachers organizing evaluations and summaries.

UG CNC Programming Stage Learning Content:

I. Basic Courses:

1. UG Installation and Interface Setup (UG Sketch Examples Explained) 2. Basic UG Modeling Commands 3. UG Curve Applications 4. UG Solid Modeling 5. UG Surface Patch Techniques 6. Product Example Explanation 7. UG Machining Module and Engineering Drawing Explanation 8. Assembly and Automatic Molding

Section 2: Basic Applications of UG Machining Module

1. Surface Milling: Familiar with the applications, cutting methods, and main parameter settings for surface milling

2. Flat Milling: Understand the application scenarios, classifications, cutting methods for different workpieces, and the setting of main parameters, and master them.

3. Cavity Milling: Commonly used for roughing out workpieces, learn to select the right tooling for different sizes of workpieces. Cavity milling generally follows the perimeter cutting path, with focus on setting and mastering the main parameters.

4. Re-clearing corners with cavity milling: Primarily for processing the excess material left after rough cutting with the upper tool; setting and mastering the main parameters.

5. Equal Contour Milling: Often used for precision finishing of workpiece sides. When selecting tools, choose a reasonable one based on the size of the R-angle at the bottom of the workpiece. Key parameter settings and mastery, example problem explanation, and topic exercises.

6. Curved Surface Milling: Commonly used for the precision finishing of workpiece surfaces, typically employing ball-end mills for curved surface milling. Focuses on the setup and mastery of key parameters, with example problems and exercises related to the topic.

7. Hole Machining: Applications of G81 and G83.

III. Factory Case Studies:

1. Electrode Processing: Through multiple electrode examples, practice, and mastery, understand the electrode processing process and fixture installation. Pay attention to special points during the processing of special electrodes, such as ultra-high and ultra-thin electrodes.

2. Mold Frame Processing: Proficient in mold frame processing techniques, experienced in handling large-scale mold frame processing.

3. Molding Core Processing: Understanding common molding core materials, knowledge of mold heat treatment processes, control of pre-processing excess for cores requiring heat treatment, and precautions during the processing of the mating surfaces of front and back cores.

4. Full Mold Machining: Mastering the precautions during the full mold machining process, integrating the common mold processing procedures of the factory and the department's processes.

5. Product Processing: Craft considerations and parameter settings during product processing.

Completing the learning content in the above phase, through full-time instruction, takes approximately three months. Upon finishing our course, you will be very familiar with the factory's operational procedures and possess the experience equivalent to 2-3 years. You will be capable of independently performing the duties of a mold design programmer, as the saying goes, 'A hundred thousand in your pocket is not as valuable as a skill in your hand.'
