UG Mold Design Phase Learning Content:

1. Mechanical drafting, CAD software commands, fundamental mold knowledge, machining processes, basic steps for drawing assembly drawings, and the application of CAD auxiliary modules.

2. Explanation of 3D software commands, product shaping, product analysis, DFM creation, export mold standards explanation, and application of 3D auxiliary modules.

3. Mold Structure Explanation (mold types, inclined cores, sliding cores, thread forming, N-time parting, etc.), demolding steps, product reasonable modifications, product parting surface construction, demolding techniques, full 3D, complete 2D assembly drawings.

4. Provide CAD drawings for mold components and UG drawings for mold components; prepare BOM with 0 pieces for order.

5. Comprehensive enhanced training, where trainees design according to the factory's design process, with the instructor organizing evaluations and summaries.

UG CNC Programming Learning Content:

I. Basic Courses:

1. UG Installation and Interface Setup (UG Sketch Examples Explained) 2. Basic UG Modeling Commands 3. UG Curve Applications 4. UG Solid Modeling 5. UG Surface Patch Techniques 6. Product Example Explanation 7. UG Machining Module and Engineering Drawing Explanation 8. Assembly and Automatic Molding

Section II: Basic Applications of UG Machining Module

1. Surface Milling: Familiar with the applications, cutting methods, and main parameter settings for surface milling.

2. Planer Milling: Know the application scenarios, classifications, cutting methods for different workpieces, settings of main parameters, and mastery

3. Cavity Milling: Commonly used for roughing out workpieces, learn to reasonably select tools when the workpiece varies in size. Cavity milling generally uses a cutting method following the perimeter, focusing on the setup and mastery of key parameters.

4. Re-clearing corners with the mold milling: Primarily for processing the excess material left after rough cutting with the first tool; setting and mastering the main parameters.

5. Equal Contour Milling: Often used for precision finishing on workpiece sides. When selecting cutting tools, choose a reasonable one based on the size of the R-radius at the bottom of the workpiece. Main parameter settings and mastery, example explanation, and combined with topic exercises.

6. Curved Surface Milling: Often used for precision finishing of workpiece surfaces, typically selecting ball-end mills for curved surface milling. Main parameter settings and mastery, with example problems explained and combined with practical exercises.

7. Hole Machining: Applications of G81 and G83.

Section 3: Factory Examples:

1. Electrode Processing: Through multiple electrode examples, practice, and mastery, learn the processing steps and fixture techniques for electrodes. Pay attention to special points during the processing of electrodes, such as ultra-high and ultra-thin electrodes.

2. Mold Frame Machining: Proficient in mold frame machining processes, experienced in handling large-scale mold frames.

3. Mold Core Machining: Understanding of common mold core materials, knowledge of mold heat treatment processes, control of stock allowance before heat treatment for mold cores, and precautions during the machining of mating surfaces for front and back mold cores.

4. Complete Mold Processing: Mastery of the precautions during the complete mold processing, integrating the common processing procedures of the factory and the department.

5. Product Processing: Craft considerations and parameter settings during product processing.

Completing the learning content in the above stage typically takes about three months of full-time instruction. Upon finishing our course, you'll be very familiar with the factory's operational procedures and possess 2-3 years of work experience. You'll be capable of independently performing the duties of a mold design programmer, as the saying goes, "A thousand pounds in the bank is not as good as a skill in hand."
