Xiamen Rongchang Mold Design & Programming Training Studio is a professional training studio specializing in mold design and CNC programming. Taught by a mold design engineer with 15 years of experience, it follows a mentor-apprentice approach with hands-on instruction. The studio aims to convey the latest and most practical technologies to meet industry demands, striving to become a high-quality mold training brand and provide resources for the mold industry.
Can a person with a low education level learn mold design? As long as you have an interest and are willing to work hard, it's possible! There's a saying: "Learning has no fixed order, but those who achieve are the pioneers." With a good training institution and a skilled teacher to guide you, and by engaging in in-depth and systematic study, mold design can be an easily mastered subject.
Is there still an advantage to studying mold design? As the "Mother of Industry," molds have a vast development space. It can be said that as long as products exist, molds do too, and as long as molds exist, mold design exists. With the transformation of enterprises and the improvement of processes and management in recent years, China's mold industry has rapidly developed, especially in the fields of automobile molds and export molds. The demand for talent is ever-increasing. For example, the shortage of mold design personnel in the Pearl River Delta area alone is several hundred thousand. Some companies are offering salaries over 10,000 yuan per month yet still struggle to find suitable candidates! Now, mold designers with only basic training can earn a salary of over 6,000 yuan per month, and after a year, most can expect around 8,000 yuan. After three years, salaries typically exceed 10,000 yuan; this is the advantage of studying mold design! As long as you maintain your work abilities, you'll never be unemployed in this lifetime!
Our Studio's Training Advantages: Can learning one or two software programs make you a mold designer? Don't confuse software training with mold design! Many training schools nowadays mainly focus on basic software operations, with little to no understanding of the industry's technology—misleading students! Our studio is led by engineers with 15 years of experience in the mold industry. Can you name how many training schools would hire instructors with over a decade of experience?

Studio Advantages:
1. Our studio instructors possess the three essential skills for mold design: a. Mold mechanism, b. Software operation, c. Machining process.
2. Our studio operates through the mentor-apprentice method. Large-scale training schools often have dozens, if not hundreds, of students, but how many can a teacher realistically attend to? Moreover, teachers are usually hired from outside; will they take the time to nurture your inner spirit and teach you thoroughly?
Are you still struggling to learn technology? Are you still working on the assembly line in a repetitive, mechanical manner? Are you still slogging through textbooks, creating solutions in isolation, or watching online videos? Stop wasting time and money! Open a design training studio for a great learning opportunity and environment that you definitely shouldn't miss!
Eligible Candidates: Motivated youth with high school or equivalent education, CNC machine operators, milling workers, mold setters, and others involved in the mold and machinery industry, as well as graduates from technical schools.

Class Schedule
UG Mold Design Phase Learning Content:
1. Mechanical drafting, CAD software commands, fundamental mold knowledge, processing techniques, basic steps for drawing assembly drawings, and the application of CAD auxiliary modules.
2. Explanation of 3D software commands, product shaping, product analysis, DFM creation, export mold standards, and application of 3D auxiliary modules.
3. Mold Structure Explanation (mold types, sliding cores, ejector pins, thread forming, N-time parting, etc.), demolding steps, product rational modifications, product parting surface construction, demolding techniques, full 3D, complete 2D assembly drawings.
4. Provide CAD drawings for mold components, UG drawings for mold components, and prepare a BOM with 0 pieces for ordering.
5. Comprehensive intensive training, where students design according to the factory's design process, with the instructor organizing evaluations and summaries.

UG CNC Programming Learning Stage Content:
I. Basic Courses:
1. UG Installation and Interface Setup (UG Sketch Examples Explained) 2. Basic UG Modeling Commands 3. UG Curve Applications 4. UG Solid Modeling 5. UG Surface Patch Techniques 6. Product Example Explanation 7. UG Machining Module and Engineering Drawing Instruction 8. Assembly and Automatic Parting
Section II: Basic Applications of UG Machining Module
1. Surface Milling: Be aware of the application scenarios, cutting methods, and main parameter settings for surface milling.
2. Flat Milling: Be aware of the applications, classifications, cutting paths for different workpieces, setting of main parameters, and mastery
3. Cavity Milling: Often used for roughing out workpieces. Learn to choose the right tools reasonably when the workpieces vary in size. Cavity milling generally uses a following-the-perimeter cutting method; setting and mastering the main parameters.
4. Re-clearing of the mold milling: Mainly for processing the excess material left after the roughing with the first tool; setting and mastering of main parameters.
5. Level Contour Milling: Often used for precise finishing of workpiece sides. When selecting tools, choose a reasonable one based on the size of the R-radius at the bottom of the workpiece. Main parameter settings and mastery, example explanation, and combined with topic exercises.
6. Curved Surface Milling: Often used for precision finishing of workpiece surfaces. Generally, ball-end mills are chosen for curved surface milling. Main parameter settings and control, example problems, and topic-related exercises are explained.
7. Hole Machining: Applications of G81 and G83.

III. Factory Examples:
1. Electrode Processing: Learn and master the electrode processing and clamping techniques through multiple electrode examples and practice. Pay attention to special points for processing electrodes like ultra-high and ultra-thin electrodes.
2. Mold Frame Machining: Proficient in mold frame machining techniques, experienced in handling large-scale mold frames.
3. Mold Core Machining: Understanding of common mold core materials, knowledge of mold heat treatment processes, control of excess stock before heat treatment for mold cores, and precautions during the processing of mating surfaces for front and back mold cores.
4. Full Mold Machining: Mastering the precautions during the full mold machining process, integrating the common mold processing flow of the factory and the processing department.
5. Product Processing: Attention to processing techniques and parameter settings.

The above learning content can be completed in approximately three months of full-time instruction. Upon completing our course, you will be very familiar with the factory's operational procedures and possess the experience equivalent to 2-3 years. You will be able to independently perform the duties of a mold design programmer, as the saying goes, "Being rich is not as good as having a skill in hand." Three months of study will undoubtedly benefit you for a lifetime.
