It meets various requirements for reverse brakes and rubber-lined drums. The explosion-proof external-mounted electric drum has explosion-proof ratings of dI, dIIAT4, and dIIBT4. dI is suitable for mines with methane or coal dust, dIIAT4 for environments with I, IIA级 T2-T4 group explosive mixtures, and dIIBT4 for areas with I, IIA, IIB level T2-T4 group explosive mixtures.

According to JB/T7330-94 standard, explosion-proof motors are designated as B, and those with reverse brakes as N.
