
Socket-weld fittings are a type of pipe fittings, which are machined pipe connectors forged from stainless steel round bars or ingots.
Its connection form is Socket Welding-SW, where steel pipes are inserted into socket holes for welding. The main manufacturing standards are ANSI/ASME B16.11, HG/T 21634, MSS SP-83, MSS SP 79, and GB/T 14383-2008.
Types of stainless steel socket fittings include 45° elbows, 90° elbows, tees, crosses, 45° reducing tees, double-end socket unions, single-end socket unions, pipe caps, swivel joints, and branch supports. Among them, tees and crosses come in both equal and unequal sizes; similarly, double-end socket unions also have equal and unequal sizes, with the unequal sizes further categorized into concentric and eccentric.
