
The socket tee is composed of a socket, spigot, bend section, and spigot slot, characterized by a spigot slot on the socket, with the socket and spigot located at the ends of the bend section. In a piping system, the socket tee is a fitting used to change the direction of the pipeline.
Fitting tees are available in cast iron, stainless steel, alloy steel, forgings cast iron, carbon steel, non-ferrous metals, and plastics, etc.
The main manufacturing standards for socket weld tees generally include GB/T14383, ASME B16.11, and BS3799.
