Stretching molds are called drawing dies, which are tools used for mass production of required stampings from materials (either metallic or non-metallic). Depending on their assembly, drawing dies can be categorized into single-stroke drawing dies, compound dies, and progressive drawing dies. They can also be distinguished by the press equipment used, such as single-action press drawing dies, double-action press drawing dies, and triple-action press drawing dies, with the main difference being the type of flanging device (elastic or rigid flanging). Drawing dies can also be divided into initial drawing dies and subsequent process drawing dies, primarily differing in the structure and positioning of the flanging rings.
