The gear ring is heat-fitted onto the outer edge of the flywheel, then securely fastened after cooling. It is used to mesh with the starter gear, rotating the crankshaft and starting the engine.
1) When starting the engine, the starter gear may collide with the flywheel teeth or fail to mesh properly, resulting in damage to the teeth ring.
2) The starting motor's power connection was too early, causing the starting motor gear to collide with the flywheel teeth.
