
1. Overview
Isolation switches are outdoor high-voltage electrical equipment designed for 3-phase AC 50Hz, used for opening and closing circuits under conditions of voltage without load, and for electrical isolation of equipment under maintenance, such as high-voltage busbars and circuit breakers, from energized high-voltage lines. They are also suitable for switching small capacitance or inductance currents. When the switch blade is in the normal open position, it provides a safe insulation distance. They are widely used in substation voltage levels of 35-110kV.
2. Main Structure and Features
Each single-pole isolator switch consists of a base, two insulating pillars, a terminal block, left and right contact assembly, and a grounding blade, etc.
2. The connection between the finger and the finger holder is via an axial socket, and the connection between the terminal block and the contact rod is made with copper flexible wiring, significantly reducing the main circuit resistance of the product.
3. The two pillar insulators are installed on the same base in a "V" configuration, offering the advantages of a small land occupation and reduced installation of metal structures.
4. Equipped with a roller shaft transmission, easy operation, smooth rotation, and free opening and closing.
5. The two poles' opening and closing actions are synchronized through the rotation of a bevel gear.
6. The two pillar axes intersect at a 50-degree angle, with a rotation angle of up to 90 degrees. After separation, there is an ample insulating isolation gap, enhancing its safety.
7. The driving base of the actuating mechanism moves the swing arm and rod, synchronously rotating the two pillar insulators to achieve the operation of opening and closing the switch.
8. The product features three grounding methods: non-grounded, single grounded, and double grounded. There is a reliable mechanical interlock between the main shaft and the grounding, ensuring its safety.
9. Compatible with CJ2 automatic actuating mechanisms or CS-17G manual mechanisms, electromagnetic locks can be installed. The positioning device on the operating mechanism ensures that the contacts are in the correct contact or break position.
