The shrinkable sleeve series is designed for the anti-corrosion and thermal insulation of buried and overhead steel pipeline weld joints, as well as for thermal insulation jointing. It can also be used for sealing and anti-corrosion at pipeline flange connections and lock band areas.
It is composed of radiation-crosslinked polyolefin base material and sealed thermoplastic adhesive composite. The sealed thermoplastic adhesive can form a good bond with polyethylene base material, steel pipe surfaces, and solid epoxy coatings.
During the heating installation, the heat shrinkable sleeve shrinks radially while the internal adhesive layer melts, tightly wrapping around the joint and forming a robust protective barrier on the exterior of the pipe with the base material. It boasts excellent wear resistance, corrosion resistance, impact resistance, and good UV and photo-aging properties.
