Three-layer structure radiation cross-linked polyethylene heat shrinkable tape
Radiation-crosslinked polyethylene heat-shrinkable tape series is designed for the anti-corrosion and thermal insulation of buried and overhead steel pipelines at weld joints, as well as for thermal insulation joints. It is composed of a radiation-crosslinked polyolefin base material and a sealing hot-melt adhesive, which can form a good bond with the polyolefin base material, steel pipe surface, and solid epoxy coating. This product is mainly used for anti-corrosion joints in gas pipelines, oil and gas transmission pipelines, water supply and drainage pipelines, and heating networks, featuring high shear strength, peel strength ≥ 70N/cm, strong resistance to aging, good sealing performance, and easy installation. It is an important anti-corrosion material in cathodic protection projects.
Radiation cross-linked polyethylene heat shrinkable tape can also be used for adjustable sleeves. Compared to the fixed sleeves of heat shrinkable sleeves, it includes a sealing strip and a fixing plate, in addition to the heat shrinkable tape itself. The tape is also conducive to mass production and is much easier to install.
Basic Information
Radiation cross-linked polyethylene heat shrinkable tape, upon heating during installation, the base material shrinks radially while the internal adhesive layer melts, tightly wrapping around the joint area. This forms a robust anti-corrosion barrier on the outside of the pipe, in conjunction with the base material, offering excellent wear, corrosion, impact resistance, and good resistance to UV and photo-aging.
—High mechanical strength and excellent aging resistance.
—Excellent environmental stress resistance.
—Excellent bonding performance.
—Easy to use.
