The base material of the viscoelastic anti-corrosion tape is composed of elastic film or superplastic film. The tape can be easily stretched to three times its original length and can be shaped into any form. Therefore, it is suitable for anti-corrosion and repair of buried pipeline joints, as well as for the anti-corrosion of non-standard pipe fittings such as elbows, bends, tees, and insulated flanges.
