The double-sided adhesive tape with corrosion-resistant inner film is a new member of the corrosion-resistant tape system. It is a strip-type corrosion-resistant material made of high-performance polyethylene film as the base material, with both sides bonded under high pressure and heat with high-performance corrosion-resistant butyl rubber. It can be applied by cold wrapping and is primarily used in the transmission of oil and natural gas; corrosion protection for the outer surfaces of buried steel pipelines in chemical industry and urban construction, including water supply and drainage, and gas transmission. It features ease of application and non-pollution, making it one of the corrosion protection systems considered for external pipeline corrosion.
This corrosion-resistant inner sleeve overcomes the characteristic of low adhesion of ordinary inner sleeves to the outer sleeve, allowing the outer sleeve to be firmly adhered to the inner sleeve through the high-performance corrosion-resistant butyl rubber on the inner sleeve. Even under severe tension, the outer sleeve will not separate from the inner sleeve, thus providing both protection and corrosion resistance to the outer sleeve, enhancing the corrosion prevention effect.
