Volatile Corrosion Inhibitors, commonly known as powder form. Rustoper (Rust Terminator) is a water-soluble rust preventive powder that can be used both dry and wet. Primarily used for rust prevention on internal metal surfaces in metal indentations, hollows, or cavities. In enclosed spaces, using dry vapor phase rust preventive powder yields excellent rust prevention. After vaporization, VCI adheres to the metal surface to form a dense protective film, thereby preventing rust. In industries such as boiler and pressure vessel manufacturing, vapor phase rust preventive powder is often used in water mixing for hydrostatic tests.
Features:
1. Specifically suited for rust prevention on the inner surfaces of enclosed spaces of items to be protected against rust, including cavities, holes, and curved surfaces.
2. After being opened in a sealed space and then re-sealed, it still maintains a continuous rust-proof effect.
3. Rust-prevented items can be used in the next process without surface pre-treatment after entering.
4. Leaves no stains after use, easily blown off with compressed air or washed clean with water.
5. Free from silicone, phosphates, and heavy metals; environmentally friendly and safe. Certified by SGS, compliant with RoHS directive requirements.
Application Method:
1. The surface of the anti-rust items must be clean and dry, free of any debris, stains, or other contaminants.
2. When using as dry powder, apply evenly to the surface of the anti-rust item using a low-pressure air hose or sprayer; avoid biasing to one side. Once the operation is complete, seal immediately.
3. When using the powder in a wet method, first prepare a 1%-2% water solution, then proceed with spraying, brushing, rinsing, or soaking. Once the operation is complete, seal it immediately.
4. When using in powder bag form, the powder bag should be placed within the effective distance of the VCI (≤50cm). Additionally, since the density of the VCI rust-preventive gas is greater than that of air, it is advisable to position or hang the powder bag as high as possible above the item to be protected from rust.
5. Generally, the basic usage amount is 50g/m³. Increase the amount as needed in harsh environments.
6. Wear clean gloves while handling to prevent direct contact with items to be rust-proofed.
Applicable Metal:
Iron metals, alloy steels, cast iron, copper, brass, bronze, electroplated metals, zinc and alloys, chromium and alloys, cadmium and alloys, nickel and alloys, tin and alloys, aluminum and alloys, and various metal materials and products.
