What are the characteristics of lightweight aggregate concrete?
1. Ignition Characteristic A2 Level: Fire resistance exceeds 1000°C, will not ignite under high temperatures.
2. Thermal Insulation: Conductivity not exceeding 0.043 W/m.k, with seamless insulation layer meeting 75% of environmental protection and energy-saving requirements.
3. High compressive strength: Tensile strength exceeds 0.69 Mpa, reaching up to 20 Mpa.
4. Low water absorption rate: ≤6%.
5. Longevity: Same as the lifespan of the building.
6. Excellent soundproofing effect: 7cm thick granular concrete can effectively reduce noise by 23dB, achieving special soundproofing performance.
7. Excellent seismic performance: The elastic mold accounts for only 1% of the cement concrete.
8. Lightweight: With a relative density of 215-365 kg/m³, this concrete is characterized by its lightweight nature, excellent thermal insulation, and fire resistance. The tensile strength of the structured lightweight aggregate concrete can reach up to 70 MPa. Compared to similar cement concrete, it can reduce its own weight by 20% to over 30%.
9. Under normal conditions, there is also a significant amount of shrinkage and plastic deformation. There is a positive correlation between the density and compressive strength of the elastic mold for lightweight aggregate concrete. The lower the density, the lower the compressive strength, the lower the elastic modulus, and compared to similar cement types, the elasticity of this concrete is 25-65% lower.
